MRS. PATRICIA
Patricia Harijanto attained her piano performance degree at BIOLA University, where she studied under Professor Manami Kawamura, a former student of the legendary pianist Menahem Pressler. There, she also participated in masterclasses with distinguished pianists Sandra Shen, Alvin Chow, Dr. Asaf Zohar, Norman Lee, and Dr. Jooeun Park.

She tailors her lessons to meet each student’s learning style including students with special needs, different interests in musical genre, and various goals. Her love for teaching piano has led to various experiences such as; being an instructor in the pilot classes for the distinguished publishing company Piano Adventures, and being the event coordinator for Opus Music School’s Summer Tour recital at the prestigious Colburn School’s Thayer Concert Hall.

Mrs. Patricia believes proper musical training is important and that learning piano should be fun and enjoyable. Both visions combined, she prioritizes good technique and musical artistry, as well as providing a positive and supportive learning environment for her students.

The lesson entails instruction on the material, technical building, and detailed practice tips.
60 Minutes
An hour is required for advanced students or students preparing for an examination. In this phase, students usually have to prepare a repertoire with an in-depth understanding. The lesson length will provide sufficient time to discuss musical, technical, and theoretical details.
